Samsung NC10-11GP 10.2-Inch Pink Netbook - 6 Cell Battery

I've looked at several of the new "netbooks", including several ASUS models and the ACER Aspire. I've also read many, many reviews on virtually every other model by every other manufacturer, and the NC10 is hands down the best of the bunch. It makes the ASUS and ACER units look like cheap toys.

I would have preferred a flat charcoal black color, but the white is actually very nice. It's not glossy and doesn't show finger prints. The unit feels very solid, and the keyboard is excellent. My only complaint is that Samsung did not offer a Linux version. I really, really don't like paying the M$ tax. That's the only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars.

I removed XP and installed Debian with the full KDE GUI. I installed all the same apps I run on my dual-core desktop machine and everything runs just fine.
