The Sammy looks better than it performs. I had the Acer Aspire One and returned it for the same reason the Samsung I just purchased is going back. The friggen Atheros wireless card is flawed. I also tried the MSI Wind 432. With the exception of the balance issue with the MSI, it was otherwise a better performer than the Samsung. I suspect this is a function of bloatware on the Samsung. If I had to do over and the Samsung had an Intel wireless card, I would buy the white over the blue. If the blue came in a matte finish that might tilt the scales. The blue is not a saphire blue but more a dark baby blue. Too tired to go into a lot more detail. Just want to alert those that need reliable wireless that the Atheros is known to have issues.

Desperate to get the wireless functioning properly, I opened the case and replaced the Atheros with an Intel 4965 AGN wireless card. No more warranty and still no reliable ad hoc network connectivity. The Sammy will not recognize the Intel card. I also upgraded the RAM to 2 gigs. The back of Sammy has a slot in the case for what is rumored to be a 3G modem slot. Evidently, they are shipping Europe now. For the majority who do not need peer to peer or ad hoc, this is a lovely machine. Heading back to the world of MSI.

Two finger scrolling with this trackpad is possible. Surfing on my Mac is made so much easier with two finger scrolling, I felt this feature would make this netbook much easier to navigate. With the netbook's smaller screen and trackpad, I finally found software that actually works well for the Samsung NC10. For those that don't know what two finger scrolling is, you simply use drag two fingers up or down on the trackpad to scroll the screen. Here is where you can download the free software. http://code.google.com/p/two-finger-scroll/
